Just from what I've seen on the WBAYDN? thread, people really love Tasmanian IPA. I've been intrigued because of that (as someone who gets no Schlafly distro, obviously). Must be pretty good.

Schlafly makes 2 beers that I really liked: Pumpkin Ale and Raspberry Coffee Stout. I think that the barrel aged offering are not very good, lower than average. So, I tend to stay away from most of the Schlafly barrel aged brews.

All of the beers I've had from them have been excellent.

I am in Louisville ky, have had several of their offerings, and I've honestly given up on them. Every beer I've tried is mediocre for its style. That being said i guess we have good distro here...

Living here in Massachusetts, I have only seen Schlafly at Granite Liquors in Weymouth. Based on what I have purchased in their 750ml bottles, their beers are good. I still have a 2008 barleywine chilling at home too. I wish their beers were more readily available.

If you like IPAs give their American IPA a try if you haven't already. I think it is one of the best IPAs we can get in our distro.

Just came back from Bloomington, IN with a sixer of A IPA. Very good. Had the T before and really thought highly of it. Looks like they are doing some good things there.

Pumpkin and Tasmanian are both very good, as already noted. I actually thought their Black IPA was really nice as well, but I think it's a tap-only brew.

I love the fact that their Pumpkin Ale, at 8% ABV, is technically an "Imperial" ale, but that they don't feel the need to put that on the label to help sell the beer. It sells based on a deservedly stellar reputation as being one of the best pumpkin beers in the country.

I had a Session IPA in Ohio not too long ago. It was decent, but I admit I haven't searched out for more of the Schlafly beers since. My perception at this point...Middle of the road, but am open to trying more. Although not a name I see much around here. And the Session IPA was canned too.

Schlafly is making some awesome sours as well. They are only available on draft at the taproom though. Hopefully in the next couple years they do some bottling. They also brewed a really great double IPA that was on tap the week of Hop in the City. I think Schlafly makes some world class beers and it's great having access to them without much trouble. I hope they bottle their Cream IPA that was the festival beer at Hop in the City it tasted a lot like Zombie Dust.

I drank a November-bottled TIPA tonight. Still very, very tasty.

I'm lucky enough to live 2 hrs south of St Louis and when travelling north almost always make a stop at the their Tap Room.. Their beers are very good and although they may not be as good as Founders I would say they can hold their own up against SN?

This weekend they are having a Stout Oyster Festival...all day Saturday March 8th...I will be going with the wife and friends...we do this every year...can't wait till the weekend!

Their Pumpkin ale is the best and most consistently excellent if you like them on the spicier side. Unfortunately, I did not appreciate them at all when I lived there, but I'm glad to see them leading the pack as the largest American brewer in St. Louis!
