Has anyone heard this. My grandfather sang this jingle whenever he drank Schlitz. It may go back to the 1950's. There’s a beer that’s made in Milwaukee, It’s made by a brewer named Fritz He puts it in a brown bottle, And the name on the bottle is Schlitz. They sit around a big table, drink there beer, And play pinochle all day. Then he goes home to his family Where his wife waits up for her Fritz. She knows he will bring home a bundle, And that in that bundle is Schlitz. They raise no cows in Milwaukee, They have no use for the milk They baptize their babies in Lager With foam that is finer than silk. They feed them with a brown bottle, And the name on the bottle is Schlitz They raise up fine children, Just say what you please’ They raise them on cornbread, Kartofèl and Cheese, And on Schlitz, Schlitz, Schlitz!
