India Red Ale (WY1728 Scottish Ale) fermented 7 days at 13C, then 7 days at 72F ambient…was Kegged and noted to be very clear during the transfer and thereafter...Awesome session beer… Was going outa town for 3 weeks, so I thought Traquair House clone and India Red for 3 wks at 13C sounded good. Got back from my trip and moved both brews to 72F ambient. They took OFF…5 days later and both were not clear…It seems WY1728 may like the shorter warmer schedule…

I'm not following if you have a question or not. Limited use of 1728, it has a wide range of temps that it works effectively. However, prefers colder temps, upper 50s or so. Also benefits with long almost lagering aging. Pretty much the counter of your short and warm conclusion.

13C is 55.4F which is on the low end of the scale for 1728 if you are talking about actual fermentation temps instead of ambient temps. This yeast is clean from 58-66F and produces some banana in the 67-72 range. It flocs out nicely, attenuates more than advertised and is one of my favorite semi-neutral strains for multiple styles.

It is an excellent yeast, but if it takes off on you, it gets hot and I found it hard to control on larger OG wort.

I've never had a chill haze or clarity problems after a few weeks on tap.
