Scotch-like beer?

    This beer is horrendous but packs more peat than I thought was even possible:

    If you can get your hands on Dieu Du Ciel Charbonniere it is just smoky awesomeness, reminds of great Islay in ways. They must brew it with a staggering amount of smoked malt. Even then it is just confusing how strong the flavor is. It is a smoke bomb to say the least.

    The JW Lees aged in Lagavulin also has great hints of... Lagavulin. Good smokiness mixed with a very sweet (only problem IMO) barleywine.

    Ohhh yes. Hell, I'm still mime drinking that Schlenkerla Doppelbock (thought it was an Urbock) I had on Monday. Dear God, it was glorious.
