I'm a New Yorker going to visit a friend in Scottsdale. Any suggestions on where to go or what to look for ?

I'm visiting the Phoenix/Glendale area currently the BA user in my thread @eaw2539 had some great suggestions for Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I can say I personally visited Sun Up Brewing in Phoenix last night and it was really chill spot with a very tasty White Russian Imperial Stout.
Go to OHSO as well as McFate, both awesome breweries and good food too. Steve over at McFate is rocking it right now. In Phoenix I would highly recommend Wren House, and if you can get over there, try AZ Wilderness. These guys are on the edge when it comes to turning out great product. Another great place with killer pizza and a great tap list is Papagos. Huss brewing does some fine beer and cans as well. Look for Dragoon IPA out of Tucson, it is outstanding and is available locally both on tap and canned. Also look for cans and draft of Tower Station IPA from Mother Road out of Flagstaff. Another sure winner.
