Screw it. I'm only drinking Bitter Monk from now on.

Oh, if only someone could figure out how to make this a year-round release for $18-20 a four pack...

True that. This is why I've only had three bottles in the last 18 months. But it really makes me question why I try other beer.

Gabe is an amazing brewer and a good guy. He lead the team creating most of Midnight Sun's best brews, including M, Arctic Devil, Venus, Berzerker & etc.

It really is worth $15+ a bottle every time, it's just that excellent. But I would buy $20 4 packs all year long.

Everything from Anchorage (all 6 of them?) is killer.

And they just get better the longer they sit on the shelves of some shops.

My local shop here in western Kentucky just started carrying Anchorage and the only offering I have seen from them here is Love Buzz, I have to say that it was the best saison I have ever had. I am hoping we get all of their line up because just from trying that one I am very impressed

ABC Frequency IPA (no brett) has been on tap around Anchorage for about 3 weeks now and it is fantastic. There is also a Double IPA, but I prefered the Frequency by far. On the ABC website, there is mention of a Barley Wine to be debuted at AK Beer & Barley Wine Fest next month.

Fortunately prices are $7-9 for the 750s in Anchorage, but the Bitter Monk goes quickest. The 2nd Batch of the Mikkeller Invasion Farmhouse IPA (brewed at ABC with Brett) was just released and is worth checking out if you enjoy Bitter Monk.
