Screwed up hops timing

    In the real world, you can't even get to 130 IBUs using standard brewing practices. Above 65 IBUs, the standard Tinseth model starts to break down, because each additional IBU is harder to produce than the one before it. But most calculators don't consider that. You're probably looking at something around 80 real IBUs.

    So I just wanted to report back.

    I couldn't bear to just drain all of that could be maybe decent beer. So I fermented. I dry hopped. I bottled.

    AND IT'S TOTALLY DRINKABLE.

    So thank you to those of you who kept me off the ledge on brew day. I have my own beer to drink now!

    Happy accident! Generally screw ups with malt/hops aren't going to be a total disaster.

    Typically only problems with fermentation, infection, or non-traditional ingredients could result in beer being "undrinkable".
