So I was shooting for a sulfate to chloride ratio of about 2:1. Given this was my first time dabbling in water chemistry I butchered it. Now my chloride (180PPM) to sulfate ratio (~90 ppm) is 2:1. Is my beer going to be a pile of shit? TIA

Well, the chloride is high-ish. But what's the style?

Saison. Pretty simple grain bill and mildly hopped

My guess is that you'll get a more full-ish than planned mouthfeel, but otherwise I bet it will be fine.

I can deal w/ mouthfeel, I thought it was going to be straight up salty tasting

I doubt it, but will be interested to hear how it turns out.

    What Vike said.

If you ever plan on brewing a NEIPA that's a pretty nice profile!!!

It could end up with a more rounded malty flavor and not be as firmly bitter as you wanted. But it's not ruined. You could always still add a touch of gypsum even after the boil to bring up the sulfate some more if you want, to sharpen the bitterness.

That was the inspiration. It was the execution that was lacking

You can make a gallon of water with the same profile to get an idea what it contributes. My limit for Chloride is 120ppm. YMMV.
