Scrolling Navigation/Window Flicker on Safari

    Using Safari and Mac OS X 10.12.6.

    When within a multi-post thread using the scroll bar to move toward the top of the thread or towards the bottom of the thread the two to horizongal fields (i.e., Beer Advocate bar and Menus bar) at the top flicker and show the white part of the screen moving beneath them. Moving the scroll bar up the Menus bar jumps up a bit to show white then back down repeateded creating the flicker. Moving the scroll bar down the Beer Advocate bar jumps down a bit to show white then jumps back up repeatedly creating the flicker.

    I can the see the issue as well when using Safari but I can confirm that it is not present when using the latest version of Chrome (65.0.3325.181 64-bit).

    May be Safari specific as it is doesn't seem to be present when using Firefox.

    It's definitely a Safari specific issue (updated the thread title), however, I tested it on with Safari 11.0.3 on MacOS 10.13.3 and couldn't replicate it.

    I can produce it on Mac OS 10.13.3 and Safari 11.0.3

    I do get it a little bit when logged in and scrolling down fast, but not all the time and even less when I'm logged out. It's fine in the latest Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.

    Not a critical issue, but we'll take a look at it.

    Update: I was able to resolve this by adjusting and consolidating our navigation elements.
