Liquor Depot in New Britain. They have a bunch of bombers. Expiration 6/23/12. $8.99 (better deal than Julio's even with CT tax). Based on the best Sculpins I've ever had on a scale of 1-3, I'd give the one I bought a 2-
Since when, I know they had a hard to read best by date on them last I saw last year. I know they had plans to make it easier to read. I am wondering if the bottle dating is the old bottle dating or the new bottle dating is now in affect? Old format was :five digit code which would read: 00000 2 digit day, 2 digit month, 1 digit year. Not to sound like an anal jackass here, but what is exact words and letters and bottles now? What color is ink?
North East Wine and Spirits in Plainfield also has Sculpin. Picked some up the other day, was better then an Sculpin I have had previous.
Ninety9 Bottles in Norwalk has Sculpin and Big Eye. I didn't check the price as I was there to buy Hoptimum at the time.
The bottle I had last weekend was def. the best I have had in quite a while in CT. as far as freshness goes.(best by 6/23/12....On a scale of 1-3 I give it a 3 easily.Bought mine at Coastal in Branford for $9.99. Cheers
