Haven't been able to get my hands on Grapefruit yet.... if anyone has tips for getting it in FL let me know! That being said, regular was delicious, and IMO it's worth the price if you value the drink, however, I'd take Jai Alai over it and most IPA's i've had while we're on the subject. haha

Regular all the way. Grapefruit Sculpin has an amazing smell but lacks bite of regular Sculpin.

Sculpin hasn't been good since it was a special release.

Both are very tasty. Neiter are worth the 15.99 price tag.

I had Grapefruit for the first time in December, it's still kind of hard to find here, so it still has that novelty attraction. Regular Sculpin is an old standby though, and objectively it's probably a better beer.

Grapefruit Sculpin on tap is amazing. Its just an amped up more juicy and flavorful sculpin. I would buy Ballast Point all the time if they just dropped there prices... we can only hope.

I won't comment on whether they are worth the money, since a lot of the beers I like to buy are priced more than I like to pay.

I prefer regular Sculpin slightly over GF. Maybe if the GF flavor was dialed back a little, I would feel differently, but that would kind of defeat the purpose.

Between the two I would say sculpin. If I wanted a grapefruit ipa I would actually struggle to choose between gf sculpin and stone grapefruit slam

Im not sure if tis just me but, ill buy a pack of GF Sculpin and its so good. then the next one I pick up will taste overly sweet and artificial.

To me reg sculpin is much better. Problem is on the East Coast it sits on shelves too longs whereas grapefruit or habanero sell out fast. Get some reg Sculpin on tap out west and it's hard to beat though.

Grapefruit Sculpin IMO is better than Sculpin, and I love Sculpin. I love fruit bomb IPA's and no other one I've had is as potent on the nose and mouthfeel as Grapefruit Sculpin.

Just recently had the grapefruit. I do like it better, it has more of a crisp tang to it.

I like them both equally. And at $14.99 a six pack and available locally, seems worth it to me.

They are both great, I prefer the grapefruit version and yes, they are more expensive than similar offerings. That said, I tend to have them on draft more often than at home and the price at bars seems more in line with other similar offerings on draft alongside them.

I had some of that first bottled batch. It was amazing. The formula did change, but I still really like it.

    Wait, was that sarcasm? ;-)
