would anyone be interested in doing a bus brewery tour as a group? going to maybe 2-3 breweries (like alpine and societe) and having a bottle share on the bus. all while being responsible advocates of course

Despite all the dissing of brewery tours in this forum, I'm gonna say hell yeah. It's easy to hate when you're the one standing in line behind them at a brewery. But if they're/we're not being obnoxious or belligerent, I don't see a problem. Bottle share on the bus makes it even better.

Maybe we can plan for 2 months out? Give us time to collect money from everyone. If enough people are interested we could talk about where to depart from and other things like that. Since I'm planning it id like to leave from my neighborhood (south park). I was thinking meeting at a bar but that would be irresponsible/rude of any of us to go in a bar afterwards which is probably inevitable once some of us are drunk

well if anyone is interested, start throwing out dates you like (or days of the week that are best, going on a week day would be SO much better) and places you would be interested in going to!

could be wrong, and maybe (probably) it depends on size, but doesn't Societe not cater to bus tours? I know I've heard directly from a worker there that they have not served certain tours.

It comes down to the amount of free time, Pinky. Suggesting a gettogether for a happy hour might be a better first start.

I would totally do this and probably have a few friends that would be game as well. My problem is that summer, read April-October, is my busiest time of the year. Once dates are locked down I can try to commit but chances are I'd have to wait until a few weeks before the date to commit.

Would be nice. But the brewery and brewpub at Alpine is too small to accommodate a medium or large group. And weekends are busy. Societe would be nice. Lots of room inside and out.

Alpine pub outside patio area would suffice..inside is way to small
