I was just curious if there are going to be any beer meets up during the week of SDCC??? Such as bottle shares or gatherings? I am sure some of us are going to SDCC that are craft nerds as well haha. Anything anyone?
I'll be in The Gaslamp everyday of the Con, drinking. SDCC has become an excuse to visit Neighborhood 4 times in a week, honestly.
Check out Rare Form if you get a chance. Good beer selection,12 taps, and waffle sandwiches. End of 8th,right next to Park at the Park and new Stone store.
The costumes alone get me to head down there everyday. That, and renting a room in my house and charging a bit extra if they want a ride down there to the con.
This will be my 20th year at the Con. It's not as fun as it used to be, but I go because I get a free Professional badge. The Gaslamp itself is TONS better during the con, with multiple places taking over bars / restaurants and giving out free food, drinks, prices etc.
I'll be there Fri/Sat. Prob my 20/21st year going. Thank god for my Pro Badge as well! Def hitting up Nieghboorhood n possibility monkey paw, and the ballast point tap room in little Italy. .
Damn 20..I have only gone to the con maybe 4 years in a row but been down there for about 8 for ish and giggles. It helps that an employee of the convention center is closely related to me.
I'll post something next week for a possible meetup downtown. I'm not attending Sunday, so maybe an 30th St. meet n greet could happen.
