SE Houston/ Gulf Freeway BAs

    I have seen a few people comment about the need for a good bar in our area (I live in League City) So I figured I would take this opportunity to spread the word of a new bar opening on Nasa Rd 1 near Highway 3 in Webster. They are going to have 30+ taps, and a huge assortment of bottles. I personally was there this morning taking a small sneak peak and its looking pretty good. The owner Charles (owner of the Shell station on 528 and Blackhawk) said they plan on opening mid-late November.

    well this is awesome. keep us informed in this thread on the progress.

    if you haven't been yet, the **** and bull on nasa, closer to 146 gets some interesting taps from time to time, and always has at least one sour tap going.

    neat little joint.

    This is very good news... now someone tell them to crank it up to about 80 taps just because!

    Met Charles today at the Shell station... what a super nice guy... really. His wife was very nice also. We talked about the new bar opening. Said it's about a month away...

    I also picked up some DogFishHead Burton IPA, Stone Smoked Porter Vanilla Bean, and Slumbrew Porter Squared Porter. Best gas station in the world.

    Ha.. it's so subjective... Charles and his wife both loved it...ha

    He mentioned the name of the bar real fast.. but it has already slipped from my mind.. but you'll be able to fill up growlers and it really sounds like they want to keep stuff rotating through and keep it fresh.

    Stopped by there this afternoon to check it out. Looks like its pretty nice inside, the guys said they'll have 200 beers available. I had lunch at the nobi asian grill to check it out and I must say, it was pretty darn good. Im a sucker for egg rolls and sriracha though... They are trying to open up before Thanksgiving, should be exciting!
