Just curious if anyone had a heads on the release locations in this area were. I thought Total Wine might but I wasn't sure. Cheers!
interesting question. so far we have only received 1 "limited release" from Goose Island in this area and that is Lolita. and only 1 store in the area got any. the Tidewater area got zero BCS and obviously no variants last year. we are certainly awash in the regular release beers which seem to do nothing but sit on the shelves. my guess, and it's purely a guess, is that we may get a few cases of regular BCS but most likely, none of the variants which are all going to go to Northern Virginia and possibly Richmond. I certainly hope I am wrong about this, and if anyone knows any details, please let us know.
Haven't heard anything but have seen Lolita at Total Wine . Would like to see the Barley wine but would be happy to find the BCBS . My local pub in Va. Beach tapped a fresh keg of OTWOA Friday night so maybe that's a good sign . Was a nice surprise .
nothing official, but word is we will only see regular BCS in the Tidewater are. no variants were sent this way at all.
has there been any update on this. I am in the area for a couple days and would be happy to track some down. Wont be hitting GA since it exceeds the 14% ABV limit
Check the Mid-Atlantic forum - there's a thread with a ton of nova and dc places that have it (assuming you're in that area and not southern VA). Lots of it floating around. Good luck and cheers
Thanks Hookem, but unfortunately I am in SE Virginia (Norfolk) and not going any further north. Will be driving through NC and SC on I-85 and checking to see if any places around there have any.
