Sea Hag in Central CT

Not really absurd. I have been talking to more than a couple high volume shops up in Central CT that are being limited to about 2 cases a delivery.

 

Store goes on allocation = customers go on allocation. I got 2 sixes Tuesday dated 3/30 in Fairfield County.

 

we used to get (and sell) 20+ cases a week... we now get 2 cases... every 3 to 5 weeks... lame

 

Are cans sold at the brewery?

 

No sir....Try down the street at Amity Wine and Spirit Co.

Unless the sticker on top is fake, and they actually aren't fresh, I bought them at Amity Wine. I think it is surprising that these are becoming hard to find in Central CT. This is a beer that should be available everywhere...one of the best IPAs in New England/Tri-State imho.

 

That's cool, the guy from Ohio I quoted was asking if you can by cans at the brewery.Cans aren't for sale at NEBCo.

 

Yea, I wish they had cans, that way I could have Ghandi Bot and be able to enjoy it over time without worrying about where I am going to find it next. I can never make it to the brewery in time to fill a growler it seems.

 

Next time I see Sea Hag in stores I'm buying more than one 6 pack…for the price and the quality it's the best option available!

 

Hence, why I buy it whenever I see it at this point. As opposed to not buying it unless I was out "back in the day"

 

I bought two sixes last week, just 8 days old. Had family over and despite a great variety of other beers, they drank them all. My plan was to have them take care of one six, leaving the other for me. Best laid plans....

 

Just saw some Hag in West Hartford dated 4/09/15. Very Fresh!

 

4/9 hag is on shelves all over central CT right now. Berlin Spirits has 2 cases.

Picked up a six pack of sea hag at cork and bottle in WH dated 4/16. Also, Parkview in WH is selling those six packs that consist of 4 sea hags and two Gbots if anyone is interested.

 

When stores break up six packs this way do they then just sell the extras as singles? How much do they charge for a Sea Hag(4), Gbot(2) pack?

 

I saw GBot singles for $5.99 today. Fortunately for me I had gotten a 4 pack two days ago for $12.99. First time I have seen GBot in more than a year and now twice in three days. I did get a 4 pack of Sip at the same place which made it a great stop.
