    Hello my new BA friends,
I just discovered and joined the forum as I was surfing for a display solution. I'm a seasoned consommateur but fairly recent collector. I’m a big fan of local craft beer. I built my new garage few years ago and it’s become my sanctuary (as the wife calls it). All of my toys (boat, truck, car, atv etc…) are in there including my small work shop, couch, beer fridge, TV, dart board, radio and so on. Oh and the most important, a deadbolt lock to keep the girls out. J (wife and 2 daughters). After I built it, I started keeping 1 bottle of every different beer that I have consumed. I’ve now passed 200+. I’m looking for a way to display them. Since there always dust in my sanctuary, I’m looking for a care free solution. What I was thinking is a type of closed shelf display that I would put along the ceiling. My version of a crown molding. J Has anyone done or seen something like this? Any guidance would really be appreciated.

I've seen something similar at bars and restaurants. Never closed in, but definitely a "ledge" of sorts where items are sitting that runs 360 degrees around the room.

If you do woodworking, it doesn't seem like it would be that hard. Probably a bit frustrating to work on a ladder the whole time, but that's about it. If you wanted it lit (backlit or toplit), that seems like it would make everything a lot more tedious. The support for the shelf seems like it would be pretty minor. Putting doors that lift-up (much like some older-style curio cabinets) with glass in them seems reasonable. I've never worked with putting glass in wood (personally) though, so not sure how tough or expensive that would be.

This would seem to double or triple in price if you are including bombers.
