Has anyone had problems sending rare through the mail, I have heard many people adamant on the fact they want rare in box sealed. But my first instinct would be to take it out of the box to better package it and also so it does not roll around in its box, has anyone sent one in its box only to have it break in shipping.

    just curious on thoughts.

I shipped one in the box... but had the convo with the receiver about their preference (leave in and pack around OR take out and wrap separately). This is really the key. Good communication and expectations.

The sticker at the top is very easy to peel intact if you are careful. The adhesive glue does a great job holding the back of the bottle to the inside of the box, and there is just enough room on either side to slide in some of the smaller-bubble bubble wrap on either side of the bottle. Slide the slip cover back on and wrap the entire box in bubble wrap. Package accordingly the rest of the way, and safe arrival probability is just as good as a single well-wrapped bottle.

On other thing... I noticed that the little sticker at the top of the slip cover had already loosened itself by the time it reached the retailers. Again, simple disclosure, and letting the receiver know that bottle is still adhered to the box should alleviate most every concern.

Why would someone be dead set on getting the box with the seal intact?

I drank a bottle of Rare recently and it was damn tough to break the glue and pull it out of the box, I wouldn't worry about it rolling around.

My friend shipped it in the box. He just packed newspaper around the bottle inside the box for added protection.

I've shipped 3 bottles so far. Each time it peeled back the sticker and opened the box to wrap the bottle in bubble wrap, then resealed the box. The glue in there should hold the bottle in most cases, but it's stupid to risk it. If someone wants an unbroken seal on the box, then they'd have to accept responsibility for the loss if it breaks. I'd just enclose it in several plastic bags so the box doesn't leak if it does.
