    Hey all,

I'm brand new to this whole thing. My roomie and I finally have our mini-fridge converted into a kegerator, and really wan to start using it this weekend. The store we purchased the coupler from had sold all of their hex nuts and tailpieces separately, so we had to find some online. We finally got the parts in and got everything hooked up last night. Bottom line is, the tailpiece and hex nut don't seem to be entirely flush, and there's definitely a leak. It's also leaking at the top where the CO2 gets connected.

Sorry for the horrible newb question, but what exactly should we be using to seal these leaks? I've seen some people say tape, but frankly neither of us trust that to be entirely air-tight. We'd also like to avoid using glue if at all possible. So what would the best route to take be? I'm guessing rubber seals, but am really not sure.

    Appreciate any help.

+1 on backwards. CO2 goes in the side, beer comes out the top. The CO2 line has a check valve that looks like a duck bill that acts as the washer. The beer side has a washer between the tail piece and the top of the coupler.
