Is there a magic structure to getting meaningful search results? Seems hard to tap into such a robust database with the current search tool. For example: If I search for quads, I get all quads. Great. But how can I search for quads being brewed by breweries in my area say? If I search for quads and Massachusetts I get nothing. I'd like to have be able to drill into the data set thats been created here. Ive been a long time member but I'm starting to explore now in slightly different ways.
Maybe instead of using "massachusetts" use "brewery name"? I always have better luck in y searches by searching from the home page, rather than from a thread or post.
My observation is the site searches based on where you start. If you are viewing forums, it searches in forums. Are you in places? It searches in places A "Google-like" search across the entire site may not turn up much of use, depending on how the content is actually stored and managed.
