Hello everyone in the area. I'm not well-acquainted with the craft beer scene in RR. Obviously Austin is the place to be, but I don't live there. I know about Flix Brewhouse, Home Field Grill and that there is a Spec's near Ikea. I also saw a mix 6 pack of Texas beers at the HEB on Greenlawn. I would love to hear your suggestions. Where can I find a good selection of bottles and local draft beers?
Westside Alehouse is pretty much the only place you didn't mention I can think of...there's not a lot of options beyond that right now.
There is a Alamo Drafthouse off Anderson Mill, so you can at least get a good brew while watching movies. They may do growler fills if there's a bar. Also check out the Dig Pub in Cedar Park. Pretty good tap selection and they frequently have one-off's from the local breweries.
Right next to the Dig Pub is Hamricks Market. Their prices are a little higher, but they are doing a nice job of getting bottles in and keeping up with what's new in craft beer.
The real highlights have already been hit, but here are a few other places to be aware of: HEB Palm Valley maintains a pretty solid selection and gets a surprising number of sought-after releases. The outlet mall/Ikea area also has a BJ's Brewhouse. Junior's Grill in the historic downtown district has a small but decent selection of craft beers on tap, and good food besides. If you're on the southeast side of Round Rock, Hanovers Draught Haus in Pflugerville has some good variety and could be worth a visit.
