I guess the seasonality of Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome, Ommegang's Adoration, and Weyerbacher's Imperial Pumpkin is part of what makes them special.

I can hold out, they're somewhat heavy for the summer.

Summerfest is good, but I love Celebration Ale and I'm not huge on IPAs.

A lot of my usual shops were out of ten fidy. I thought I had seen the last of the season, but stumbled upon a case today. IMm broke now, but have enough for summertime night caps.

That's the equivalent of paying $9.82-$13.09 per six pack. There are plenty of world class beers in this price range.

Solace from Firestone Walker is a great seasonal, a nice summertime beer.

I guess you make a good point when extrapolating to 6packs. I just get excited over a $3.49 bomber of a world class beer. I rarely see ANY large bottle for such a low price. Maybe I should rephrase my original statement to say, "easily the best beer in terms of cost per bomber".

I would make a case for Lagunitas Hop Stoopid ($3.79ish) or Deschutes Black Butte Porter ($2.99 a bomber here!). But yeah, as far as bomber prices go, $3.49 is definitely on the low end.

I'm just a two season guy, and I just finished my last Winter Warmer(Harpoon) last night, so it's officially Summer now.

I'm a huge fan of the late fall/winter brews. Love me some pumpkin beer, and need to try more winter warmers this year

The only beer season that I really dig is Winter, there are so many good seasonals that come out around that time. Fall seems like it would have potential (and by that I mean the actual season, with big warming beers coming out as the weather turns) but it tends to be dominated by Octoberfests and Pumkin beers, neither of which I am a fan of.

I'm not too big on the spring and summer seasonal beers (with the exception of SN Ruthless Rye). I do love the fall and winter ones though. I definitely enjoy the pumpkin and oktoberfest beers, and the winter warmers are great, too. Although seeing this thread reminds of just how much I miss SN Celebration.....

Need to organize a chart so I can remember what to ask for what month, you know?
I know I'm looking forward to Founder's Devil Dancer and Ommegang's Gnomegang (12 oz bottle in a gift box this time) this summer (June), and all the pumpkin ales in the fall (especially Pumking and Smashed Pumpkin), but that's about as far ahead and in-depth as I can be at the moment.
I seem to have enjoyed a great wealth of good beer this current spring, but I don't know if its 'cuz my horizons have broadened or this is simply the best time for good beer (imperial IPAs and barleywines have made this spring excellent).
