Saturday would be nearly impossible for me, unless I decided to go to work after a whole lot of beer. So I vote Sunday for sure but for what it's worth, the best of my contributions might be a couple Prairie Bombs. Maybe something old but not exceedingly rare.

Is there a preferable date for the venue?

Those would be great. the whole point of these shares is for us to actually meet and drink together. The fact that awesome beers were/will be shared is a bonus, but the driving factor is personal interaction. No one has to feel pressured into keeping up with anybody else. We all win.

So, can we call it for Sunday? @Texwild , does Sunday the 30th work for you guys? What time-frame works for Fremont? Bottles only, or can we bring growlers? Since Fremont doesn't sell food, is it OK if we bring snacks?

I'm interested in going - can it be a place we can do a bottle share?

It is a bottleshare. "meeting" is a euphemism.

I might have a conflict developing, so move me to the "maybe" category. Details as I get 'em.

Pick a date and we will make it work. We've all played the 'pick a date that works' game and it always has winners and losers. We can host another night in the winter so no worries, but, a date still must be chosen. Beertunes, where is your bossy self? We won't serve any 22oz bottles. Promise.

Like I said upthread, I kinda drove the first one, based on my schedule, so I've been letting other folks have their say. And, with a potential work conflict looming, I'm not sure I can make it.

That said, I have a couple friends, and we were talking about this, and they wanted to know the date, as their Fantasy Puntball draft is scheduled for that weekend. I said that there were crickets on this thread, so they picked Saturday 29th for their draft. We'll take Sunday 30th for this share (it increases my odds of attendance). Does Noon work for everyone, or should we try for 1pm?

BTW, @Texwild , I, myself will be bringing hated 22oz format containers, it's inevitable. What would your take on Growlers be? Toronado wasn't comfortable with it, what say you?

Sounds like the timing should work out well for a special, private release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Batch #1000?

Can I still join in? I've got something from Nebraska I'm sure no one has had.

OK. Barring any adjustments from @Texwild and Fremont Brewery, I'm going to say that we are on for Noon, Sunday August 30, at Fremont. Bring a bottle or 2 to share, and if you want, some snacks. Texwild, should folks bring their own taster glasses, or does the brewery have enough?

I brought some Apricot Au Poivre Saison to the last one. I had plans to head to Omaha for the Great Nebraska Beer Fest this weekend but the plans fell through.

Wasn't talking about NBC. I've got a Peach Blueberry Sour from Infusion in Omaha that my father in law picked up for me.

I would be down for next Sunday. I have a bottle of Ninkasi Ground Control and Anchorage Bitter Monk to bring this time around.

Hmm, wondering how participation is looking with just a few days to go. Would it be helpful to create a new thread with the confirmed date in the title to get people more interested? Not trying to tell anyone what to do or hijack the thread, just want to have the best turnout possible for Sunday.

I'm about 95% sure that I'll be there, although it might not be until 1p or so. I'd hate to get there and it already be over or something strange. I'll add to the list once I've confirmed that I can make it. Thanks for putting it together!!
