    Heh, no worries.

Yeah, they've been doing summer concerts at the zoo for ever. Typically acts that appeal to an older demographic, but I've seen Decemberists and Neko Case there in the past.

Ha, never heard of either of those bands either! I know almost nothing about music besides mid 90s rap

Thinking of growler of pseudo Sue or bomber of Darkness or Lunker. Whatever from current MW roadtrip. Won't know if I can go until I get home.

It makes you feel old?!? I was in college when they had their first big hit. But I'm probably with @cherche, I like the Indigo Girls, but back in the day I wore grooves in my Fear of a Black Planet CD.

You're all speaking a different language than me. Clapton, Richards, Harrison, Willie more my speed.

When I lived in an actual neighborhood, that used to be my 'go to' when unwanted solicitors came a knocking. I had (still have) a very expensive (at the time) stereo system which I could hear while mowing the lawn.

Playing Slayer at full volume is too easy, a layup if you will. Now, out in the sticks, I play K-Pop. Way more obnoxious.

Should we get a list started of what people are going to bring so we don't have any duplicate beers? For other BA bottle shares people have put together one of those free google spreadsheets...

Looks like my friends Lis and Jason will be joining us. We can either hit our cellars, or load up on growlers from up here. Your preferences?

I am guessing we should check w/ @ToronadoSeattle as to whether growlers would be allowed? Not sure if laws differ for bringing bottles vs. growlers into a bar...

How about Tornado lay out ground rules up front so we know what we can & can't do?

I think it best we stick with bottles, as far as rules go just a general idea as to how many people would be most appreciated. And as long as everyone tips the staff and/or makes a purchase (food, beer, spirits) we should be ok. Sundays are usually a little slower in the afternoon so there should be no issues. Just keep in mind that staff have to help other people and maybe it would be best to start tabs and just order at the bar. Cheers all

Yeah, we were kinda getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Since the basic idea is just for us to actually meet each other, instead of having a huge bottle share, I'm OK with just ordering over the bar. Opening bottles would be great, but I don't see it as a deal-breaker if we don't/can't.

But what self-respecting BA doesn't have something to share? I was looking forward to that aspect of it myself.

Oh, me too, just kinda pulling back on the reins a bit. Like @ToronadoSeattle says above, staff will have other customers, and they do have to open our bottles for us too. Let's just try to keep ourselves calm. Or, maybe it's just me that's excited for this?

I agree w/ @beertunes, but since there's a good chance I won't make it (might have to start a planned backpacking trip w/ my daughter earlier than expected due to work), I don't really have much say. @ToronadoSeattle's letting this happen in their space, so if it's going to happen there you have to respect their conditions. If I do manage to make it, I'd probably just buy y'all a round of whatever you want since most self-respecting PNW BAs have already had anything I might have in my cellar anyway.

So..........bottle shares and growler shares are out at Toronado. I get that. It's a business. We play by their rules.

Reload..... Meet and greet on July 12 early PM....at a place of business. Where should we meet? A bar or brewery? My vote is the latter. And whiffle ball in the parking lot. But that is a stretch.

Bottle share is still definitely on the table, growlers just aren't. And the only thing I think they meant was if there are a lot of other people just know that the staff has to deal with them too. I'm still down for Toronado on the 12th. I'm in for 2. Did anyone look at my gots list and want to try something in specific?
