Hello fellow BA'ers! I recently relocated from DC to Seattle this month and I'm looking to meet some fellow craft beer enthusiasts in the area. I hauled a cellar across the country and would love to share some good bottles and make some new friends in the community. I don't have a spreadsheet of beers at the moment, but I have bottles from Hardywood, The Rare Barrel (all bottles from last year), Bruery (MW, GM, etc), SARA, Crooked Stave, Cigar City, and many many more . I can start a spreadsheet once I know how many ppl are interested. I can host and would like to keep it to no more than 6-8 ppl for the tasting. Let me know if you're interested and I'll set something up over the next few weeks. I'm thinking maybe a bottle or two per person should do the trick. FYI - I have a girlfriend and a big dog. Depending on details (date, time, etc) I, and maybe a couple friends, would be interested in invading from the north.
I'd be interested if this becomes a regular thing. I'm moving (myself , my wife and my cellar) to Seattle from Chicago in July.
I'm in Ballard as well (loyal heights technically, right next to Larsen's). I also have a decent yard for when the weather gets nicer.
