Seattle Beer Week local recommendations?

    I'll be there weds afternoon through Friday morning. Obviously timed for brouwer's sour fest, but I'm wondering what people think will be the best events those evenings. I'm initially drawn to the FW chocolate pairings and the north coast dinner, but it also seems a little odd to go to Seattle for California brewery events. Is there something else people would consider can't miss?

    The Iron Brewer events at Beveridge are always fun. Schooner Exact is doing some cool stuff, worth a visit. Latona Pub has a cask fest on Wednesday night, and they've been spectacular in the past. Black Raven's collab with Midnight Sun is coming out that same night at Bravehorse.

    The Beer Junction in West Seattle has some good events. They've got the brewmaster form Sierra Nevada coming in for a SN tasting, as when as Tomme Arthur and others.

    Chuck's 85th has an Imperial Stout event Wednesday. It's not a can't miss event, but it's also not time sensitive, so if you had time between events or didn't know what to do, that might be one to check out. We'll be offering flights with 3oz samples of four beers.

    Is there a list for the chucks event yet? I have a feeling I'll be drinking tons of stouts that week....between your stout event, back in black, and the wurst place is also having a stout thing. So many events, so little time!

    Still working on finalizing it. We're looking for about 15 taps pouring stout.

    Serpent's Stout

    We've got a few other kegs that I still need to figure out if we are saving for future events or putting on now, and a few other kegs still trickling in.

    Every year, I get the final schedule, put the events I'd like to attend on my Outlook calendar, then end up going to one maybe two events. I am lame.

    Similar to my preparation for beer festivals. Final beer consumption has no correlation to my carefully prepared spreadsheet.
