Maybe if you get your tent out and camp outside of Urban Family for a week they will shower you in LP for your "dedication."

Ran over to Brouwers after work for some Darkness (2013). Mmmm.

Lots of other good stuff available, but I figured this was probably my only shot at Surly on tap for a while.

Seattle Beer Week at Fremont. Killer list last night, and whatever line formed moved very quickly thanks to the always awesome Fremont staff.

Fremont, Urban Family, Noble Fir and then back to Fremont late in the evening for some Rusty Nail.

Good job, Seattle Beer Week. Good job.

Decided to go to the M's game, went to Elysian Fields and they were out of the 6 Degrees of Collaboration. Had 3 at Collins pub (Hop Venom, an ImpIPA from Crux and an absolutely great Sour Blackberry Saison from Almanac, all top notch. After the game, we hit up Schooner Exact, where I had a couple 6 Degrees, very nice brew. Finally over to BPP, Iron Brewer was fun. Bolt bus was cheap and easy, may try to get back down for some more events.

The new Fremont/Oskar Blues collab, Simultaneous Release wheat IPA is available in cans at the brewery now.

Not sure what kind of distribution this is getting (WA only or via Oskar Blues).

Firkin Firkin was a blast yesterday. Really enjoyed Allagash's Neddles and Le Rangeois (Felix blended with Ranger IPA), and Seizoen Bretta on cask was great.

    SBW Final Day.

    1. Fremont's free BBQ was great. Hot dogs, grilled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. Cole slaw, watermelon, chips and Thomas Kemper soda. They had Brett Beer back on, and it's maturing nicely. Lots of citrus and some slight funk. Employees had really cool zip up hoodies with the Brother logo on the back. I need one.

    2. Reuben's Expat IPA is amazing. Nice blend of Aussie hops. Pretty similar to Crux's Outcast, but more tropical fruit.

I thought you would have went to Chuck's barrel aged event. It was my favorite event of the entire SBW.

Nah. Was looking forward to a light and easy drinking day while enjoying the sun with my daughter.

Good for you and your daughter. Yeah, they sure weren't light and easy drinking beers. At least you could start earlier today. Those weeknight events were pretty rough when you have to work the next day.
