Seattle Belgianfest

Apparently, there were more breweries than than spaces available this year. Some names not on the brewery list.

 

Not sure. Actually, I think most fests are trying to get breweries on board right to the last minute. This is the first time I've heard of there being a waiting list for a WBC event. For whatever reason, this fest has always had certain issues: location and space being the big 2. There's just not that many good locations for an indoor fest is Seattle.

 

I went last year and it was awesome. Sounds like it will be even better this year.

 

I'll be pouring at the Propolis booth. Come say hi!

I see Elysian will be pouring a beer called "Sour Grapes".

 

I will do a futile but dramatic gesture of walking up and turning my back on them.

 

I went a few years ago and got sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopooooooooooooooooo drunk.

 

yeah the number of shattering tasting glasses really, really picks up about 2 hours into this fest in my experience. pretty fun stuff.

 

The sound is...unique and unmistakable.

 

One of my buddies cannot make it, so I have an extra ticket for the 12-4 event. Anyone need one? We can meet out front. I will sell it at cost.

 

My favorite event of the year but I can't make it this year. sigh. Gearing up for Super Bowl. I'll have to be content following the check-in's on Untappd

 

The Black Raven offerings were really top notch. A very enjoyable event this year, and can't wait for Cask Beer Fest.
