So I was in Chuck's last weekend, walked up to the cooler and saw a bottle of Hottenroth literally the moment another guy grabbed it off the shelf, looked at it for a moment, took it to the counter and bought it ($10.59 IIRC). Turned out that was the last bottle they had. They also have it on draft right now (and did then as well), but I'm usually on the go so just stopping in for a glass of beer isn't always as easy as it sounds. Anyway, I've checked around my other usual spots and haven't found any. Just wondering if this was another Chuck's exclusive (think Cherry Adam, Bourbon Fred) or if anyone has seen this elsewhere lately. It's been on my list to try for a while so I'm hoping to either score a bottle or find a few minutes when I can swing back by Chuck's before that keg gets kicked. Cheers!
Dammit I knew I should have body-checked that guy into the Sours section, that was the first and only bottle I've ever seen. Instead I was all Seattle and shit. Well maybe it will start popping up around here eventually, or maybe I'll have another chance to get over to Chuck's before too long for a glass.
It's been in the market for a couple of weeks now. I'm sure some minimal scouring could result in another bottle.
We got two kegs (one down already) and two cases (both gone), I have to imagine it hit the market in other areas as well.
