Looking for some good micro breweries in Seattle & Vancouver. Any good recommendations?

Fremont Brewing! But yeah, post on the other board and you'll get better responses.

NO, do not post in the NW forum.

You should SEARCH the NW forum.

True, this is probably posted a lot. Same in the New England forum, the same question every week "Where can I find Heady Topper in (insert non-Vermont city here)". Every.damn.time.

My buddy brought down a growler of their IPA. Soooo good! Face full of hops.

As others have said, you'll find plenty of existing threads on Seattle in the NW forum. In short, Fremont, Black Raven, Elysian, Reuben's, Georgetown, Schooner Exact, Elliott Bay, Pike, Hale's, Hilliard's, Two Beers, Big Al, Naked City, Big Time, Maritime Pacific...

I can't speak for Vancouver, but I've been impressed with the few beers I've had from Driftwood.

For Vancouver micro or nano breweries there is Parallel 49, Powell Street, Hoyne, Coal Harbour and Bridge Brewing which all opened up last year. Some of these do bottles and all do growlers. P49 and Powell are very good - have not yet sampled the others. There are a number of new ones (I believe 10 or so) opening this summer - here is a link to an article on them. None have opened as of yet but some should be in weeks.

Driftwood, as noted above, is a great BC brewery but would not be considered micro. If you are however looking for good local breweries you cannot miss with them - would also add Central City and Howe Sound together with the seasonal releases of Lighthouse and Russell.

Storm Brewing in Vancouver is awesome and only available on draft...They've done some top notch sours...Check Alibi Room or St Augustine's for their stuff.

I thought their Imperial Flanders Red (at Alibi Room) was too boozy for it's own good.

Alibi Room is my favorite stop in Vancouver for a beer. Brunch is KILLER too! Check out The Brewery Creek as well for some goodies to go.

Here is a fairly recent thread on Vancouver bottle shops.

I checked out the Alibi Room in Vancouver. They had a Hopalooza fest going on. Tried some flights of Tofino Hoppin Cretin, Ninkasi Dunkel Weiss & Logsdon Seizoen. Also checked out the Lamplighter Public House. They had some good brews on tap. Tried the Ninkasi Babylon and split a bottle of Unibroue Maudite.
