What does everyone think of this beer (Sebago Frye's Leap IPA)?

Personally I think it's one of the better year-round IPAs available in Maine and New England. It's not going to knock your socks off, but it's very drinkable and a great value. I find myself reaching for it more and more since I've been living up here. Cheers.

I'm a fan. It's got the easily obtainable, good price point thing going on. Also, awesome when it's dry hopped and on cask.

Frye's leap a great value and drinkable I agree. I'm from boston and basically go for the Mayflower IPA first. When I feel like taking a night off I always can go for the Frye. No more than 10.99 a 6pk for either. Both come in cask. I also always enjoy going to portland ME and stopping and the brewpub. They always have dry hopped and different variations of this there.

One of the best readily available IPAs here in Maine. You can find it almost everywhere around here, from the gas station to the bier cellar!

While it isn't a great IPA it certainly represents a very good value. IMO there are quite a number of IPAs that are more expensive and have higher ratings that really don't offer a significant improvement on Frye's Leap. Their Lake Trout Stout also deserves a mention as a great value.

I can usually get a 12 pack for 14.99 which for a really decent IPA is a great deal. That being said shaws has 12 packs of sierra nevada torpedo at the same price point which is really a great deal
