Sometimes I will grab a different glass, depends on what I am drinking. Most times I will just turn the hot water all the way up and use the sink sprayer to wash the glass out. Shake off the residual droplets and move on to the next beer.

I rinse with lots of water, shake out the excess in the glass and proceed with the next pour. I believe if you use enough water, you can remove any residue that may affect the taste of your next beer, even if you're going from DIPA to English mild. If I'm switching between styles, I do change my glass to accommodate the style.

Depends on my lazyness. Sometimes I'll grab another glass, usually I quickly rinse the glass with water and for my next pour, and just now I just poured my next beer in while there was still lacing left over from the last brew. In everything in life, I'm a situational kind of guy.

It really depends upon what I had been drinking and what I am about to drink. If I'm bouncing back and forth between shelf turds, I'll just pour, generally, unless we're talking vastly different flavor profiles. Anything special always goes into a glass that has had the full wash/rinse/dry/polish treatment.

Depends. If I have another of the same type of glass which I want to use again and the beer is different (I have two pints, tulips and snifters, but my bf uses them too) I will use a new glass. If I want to use the same glass again for a different beer, I will rinse and shake. I usually get mix-a-six packs so I generally don't have the same beer in a row, but if I do, no reason to rinse.

Rinse well with water, drink water out of the glass, shake it out, drink beer out of the glass. From the first to the last.

Unless it's the same brew, new glass is my rule of thumb. Flower Power after Flower Power... no problem. Flower Power after Devil Dancer, new glass. I have 4 glasses I usually drink from. DFH for IPA/IIPA/APA/Tripel, Bruery tulip for RIS/Porter/Wild Ales, Ithaca Excelcior tulip for Wild Ales/Geuze/Flanders/Quads/RIS/Wee Heavy, Great Divide tall stem glass for Milk Stouts/Stouts/Hefe/Wheat beers/Dubbels/ etc... No set rules, but I lean towards certain styles with particular glasses.

I don't usually rinse, as I read something one time about a "beer rinse" being fine, if not better for the beer than water. Plus, there's something cool about the continuity of it. And so far, I haven't noticed any effects on flavor, etc.

I will get a new glass though, if the outside get's all funky.. like from cooking and touching the glass, or (more likely), fussing with my hair and then getting product all over my pint

From what I know, the only real faux pas with washing glassware is actually washing it with soap, particularly scented soap (I think special homebrewer soap is fine, though). This is supposed to create an oily residue that ruins lacing, head, and head retention.

I simply rinse it thoroughly with cold water if it's one beer after another, regardless of style. If, for some reason, I don't rinse a glass out right away or if I'm not having another beer after the first one, I simply rinse very thoroughly with hot water, wiping the glass with my hands as necessary.

Same beer then the same glass. If it is a different beer, and it often is, I may either rinse the glass I'm using or go to a different glass depending on the style of beer. For example, I often use a Shaker Pint for Pale Aes, bitters, or many lagers but will switch to a Tulip for an IPA.

I do any and all of the above. Although I will often pour a half ounce or ounce of the next beer, swirl drink and then fill.

I usually have a couple glasses readily available. If it's the same style I'll usually just do a light rinse and shake...different style usually different glass but same thing if it isn't.

First consideration is which glass is best for the beer.

If the best glass is the one I just used, and it's the same beer, I'll pour straight away.

If same glass, different beer, I will thoroughly rinse with cold tap water (we have a filter on our cold water line).

If a different glass is best, I still rinse with cold tap water before pouring.
