Secret santa 2012???

Been wondering this myself...

I haven't seen unclejedi much lately, I hope he's doing well. He's done a killer job running Secret Santa!

Was wondering as well. I'd try running it myself but I've never run a BIF before and I'd sure hate to fuck up one of the biggest ones of the year. I'm sure it takes alot of time and is a logistical nightmare. Lets hope the Jedi returns.

 

Figured it would have been started by now...

 

If someone starts it today or tomorrow, allows sign ups for one week, rapidly assigns targets and gives a 10 day shipping window from Dec 10-20 that would still give everyone about 2 weeks to do their shopping. This is normally one of my best presents of the year. Really, who better to give a BA present other than another BA? Its like Xmas with no Santa.

Someone get this thing going.

As a new BA, I'd like to participate as well.

 

To simply answer the question, no, I will not be running Secret Santa here this year. There has sort of been a tradition that the last few people who have run BA Secret Santa have done 2 years and passed it on, I think this is a good idea and I bestow my blessings upon any other BA who wants to do it. As was suggested earlier in the thread, I am organizing elsewhere, please contact me directly if you are interested. Cheers!

Having participated in the past, this is no easy undertaking. Good luck to the person who takes it over. Tayner and unclejedi have done great jobs in the past.

No time like the present. Copy and paste some of the rules from other BIF's, assign targets, and get this thing going. Don't ruin our holiday season. Time is critical, chop chop, we're all counting on you. I look forward to signing up tomorrow
