    If we're talking about the decision on how to price undistributed beers, and whether it's worthwhile to price below MSRP, isn't that inherently something that you would think about from the standpoint of the store's owner?

    My honest answer is no. I don't care what store owners do. I like beer and want to try what I want to try. If its not distributed I have to trade or pay the price. Simple as that.

    If you admit you're willing to pay inflated prices (which is fine, spend what you want), why would you ever expect store owners to offer a product that's difficult and expensive to acquire, relative to the rest of their inventory, as a loss leader? Was your first post about offering undistributed beers at no profit just a fantasy for the sake of pointing out that it's theoretically possible (albeit entirely unrealistic)?
