    Instead of starting a new thread for every limited release, I figured I'd start a catch all thread to share updated info on the latest releases.

    Firikins just tweeted that they have Deschutes Black Butte XXIV, limit 2. I would assume that most other stores close to them have also received it.

    You have to be a top 50 liquor store to sell the Deschutes special releases.

    What's your point. Top 50 stores, that is a lot of stores. Just about every store in that area: Liquor Barrel Miracle Mile, France 44, Byerly's SLP, MGM Calhoun, Edina @ 50th St, Henn/Lake liquors, Lake Wine & Spirits, Liquor barrel Golden Valley, etc... have all gotten everyone of the limited releases from Deschutes.

    I'll be in town next wednesday, last year's deschute's anniversary was around for a while, do you think this years will be too?

    I would assume that it will still be around at a number of stores through mid August. It will trickle out to the stores over the next week or so with their regular deliveries.

    Most places got a case or two. I have heard that they divided the allotment over the Dakotas, Minnesota and Iowa. They made just as much this year as last, just more markets that it has to make it to.

    Called a local store and they said they would have it in on Tuesday, hope I can try this series for the first time.

    I understand being loyal to a store, but trying to get a limited release at the Firkins is a terrible idea. Good for them that they sell out , but If you find a little lesser known store, you wont have the drama of trying to get a bottle of X beer.

    All of the other anniversary deschute's beers have been quite widely available.

    Deschutes doesn't distribute to Iowa. Picked some this morning. Never had it before. Will probably try tonight. Might end up grabbing a few more if I like it.

    you try try 3 versions of this brew between the Happy Gnome and the Muddy Pig right now. I thought i remember 21, 22, and 24.....little hazy.

    lol, that was good times. It's XXIII and XIV at the Gnome, and XXI at the Pig. XXIII was phenomenal...
