Hello, I've been searching for tips and any help but haven't had much luck so I figured I should post here.
I have a friend in NL who wants to send me some yeast samples ( ) and when he went to the PostNL office the other day, he said that they asked him to open the box before shipping it.
I guess people have been sending pot seeds from Amsterdam and they're trying to crack down on it or something.
    So, I wanted to know:
What other couriers I can use to get my package to the US from NL?
Does anyone here have experience shipping from NL?

    Thanks in advance

PostNL is your best and cheapest route. Just have him go to a different location. Technically it is legal to send beer in Europe. Its the U.S Customs that is the issue. PostNL locations are EVERYWHERE, but only a small few accept international packages.

Have him try a new location, mark box as a gift and collectible glass. All should be fine.

I don't think the post office can demand you to open the box... PostNL is you best choice. Because there is a bigger risk with fedx and DHL that the US costoms hold your package. (Shipping with PostNL = usps = best choice)

Wohhh i send many boxes from Holland but never had this!!!! Nobody on the postoffice (don't exsist anymore) can demand you to open the box.
Go to a other shop for sending the box!! Go to Albert Heijn or a other supermarket they will send it tought Postnl!!!
Tip!!! Stay under the 10 kg otherwise you pay 2 times the price!!!

Actually I've found a new alternative guys, Google and check out "DHL for you". It's dhl's cheap service where you pay online and sort out everything yourself then drop the box of to a local outlet. When it hits US side it goes via usps. The best thing is it's almost half the price of post NL!

You're limited to 10kg boxes but personally I hate doing the big 20s and it's cheaper to send 2 boxes with this service than one big one with post NL.

    Hope this helps

Ah, so the DHL For You actually works nice to America? Its a new service and a few of us were very curious how this service would work out

But like others have said. Through post NL a 5-10kg box will cost €60 which will get you 5 or 6 bottles max (75cl wine style bottles) and from 10.1-20kg it cost €105 which can get you a max of 12 bottles with a styroshipper

With all the great weed in the USA, why in Gods name do we want seeds from NL.

This post makes no sense whatsoever, I think you bud was on bud when he went to post his package.

I've only used it once as I only heard about it at the end of last trading season but it worked fine, a box got to NY in 10 days. Tracking wasn't great but I'm going to continue using this service.
