Anyone know if any of the breweries around Seneca lake in the finger lake region of New York are worth hitting? In the area for a day and half and while will be hitting wineries with wife... Would like to check out some beers as well.

Climbing Bines is right in the middle of all the wineries. Abandon Brewing isn't too far either. Both have some pretty tasty brews and do growler fills.

I wouldn't necessarily hit up any of them if I'm going out of my way. But while your'e in the neighborhood:

Wager is a great stop because it's also winery. The wife goes to the left for wine, you go to the right for beer. And then you meet up on the killer deck and have a pint/glass.

I like Two Goats, even if their beer is still coming along. The Whiskey Richard is a really great barreled imperial stout--using barrels from the nearby Finger Lakes Distillery. You need to have a driver, though.

Oh yeah… Finger Lakes Distillery: you should check that out if you're remotely interested in whiskey and gin.

    Abandon brewing
    Climbing Bines
    Roosterfish
    Two Goats
    Horseheads.
