Sensible and Dumb State Beer Laws

Well, you're sort of correct in that we do have some dumb state beer laws but those were enacted by the legislature at the urging from the public (private citizens, Corps, churches et. al.) The TABC is simply an enforcement arm of the state government. So the rhyme or reason of what the TABC does is just that.....enforce the laws on the books. If you want to take proper aim with your frustration you may want to try your elected official(s).
