separate alerts for like vs quote

    thought it would be nice to have different alerts for when somebody likes your post AND when they quote your post.

    Yeah, I'd like to see the two different types of Alerts somehow better distinguished - w/ some sort of icon for each or just the two terms highlighted better/differently colored, etc., i.e.

    Somebeergeek LIKED your post in the thread What Beer Do You Like (again)?"

    It'd be easier to keep a conversation going when quoted, otherwise a reply can sometimes get "lost" when one has a number of "Like" alerts.

    no it just says "2 alerts" I would love to have something like "3 likes" and 1 "quote".

    I am confused. Where does it say 2 alerts? at the top of my page, there is just a number that shows up for my "alerts". I click on that, and it lists separate alerts for likes and for quotes.

    Do you mean the one that sometimes pops up on the bottom left of the page as a notification that you have alerts?

    Yeah, I want that on the top of the page the likes and quotes get a separate number.

    When you have 55 alerts you have to scroll to all of them to know if someone quoted your message. It would be easier to see that immediately.

    same what Jesskidden says actually.
