    Thanks for sharing.

Never heard of this. What an interesting look. Never seen anything like it.

It's not on their release schedule this year, but they used to release it every year.

But if you want the DFH beers that age the best - pick up some Olde School or WWS.

2010 Pannepot. Pours a nice dark brown - almost black. Great carbonation with about a 1/2 inch of head (on a vigorous upright pour). Nose is incredible. Chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla, rum, oak, raisins, and blackberries. Taste is amazing. Rum, port, raisin, sweet cherries, and vanilla. Definitely picking up some caramel and a very slight coffee taste. Chocolate is nice and strong. This is incredible, and I would say 100% that this has improved with age. Such a dark and rich flavor. I will definitely be aging more of these!

Opened a 2014 Cigar City Marshal Zhukov last night - dated 9/30/2014, so almost three years. No initial signs of oxidation and was still very good. Sweetness calmed down - roasty, chocolatey notes were more pronounced. Still full bodied and great mouthfeel. Overall it held up well although after it warmed up some cardboard taste was present. In the future I'll drink fresh or hold onto it for two years max.
