    Well sort of.

I think some craft breweries are starting to focus on sessionable drinks, but in the form of hard seltzer.

Aren't most of the hard seltzers in the 5% ABV range? So, more alcoholic than the light beers that dominant the US market, and the same as "full strength" beers like Budweiser, Coors Banquet and SABL.

Although I see that Pabst has one that is 8% ---- in a 16 oz. can no less (what? No "40" option?) PABST STRONGER  SELTZER

To be there are two requirements that ladder up to what a session beer is, IMO:

    • It is round, without sharpness, and lends to a desire to stick with it (no switching up)
    • You can drink 6 without losing your marbles

You are correct, but I was just saying that for more "sessionable" drinks, some breweries are shifting to the more popular hard seltzers.

For what it's worth, Nightshift's Hoot Seltzer line is 4% ABV.
