session triple IPAs & barleywines

    I've put down a couple half growlers of Structures Die in Haze triple ipa, clocks in at 10%. So good, so easy. My wife can attest to it being a strong beer when I think it's sessionable. lol

    I've had a couple pints, just to give it a fair shot, and that beer really isn't doing anything for me. I like that it has a bit more bite than most of their IPAs, but, other than that, it's just not grabbing me. Shrug.

    Picked up some crowlers of Long Bright Dark at Kirkland's Flatstick Pub on the way home from schrAlpental deep powdar snowboard treestyle today and saw some leftovers from the Hob Mob Roadshow. Had to pick up a crowler of Cloudburst Swedish Prison Orthodontist (i.e. 'Orgy?') as well. I haven't cracked it yet, but to keep with this thread's namesake, I did have an old can of 21st Amendment Lower De Boom burleywine tonight toward the end of the Superb Owl, canned four years ago to the day.

    Tasty.

    The only TIPA from the roadshow that I've had was Structures' Die in Haze which was pretty amazing.
