Did the tasting yesterday. Here is the lineup (in order) that I used. These were the best options I could get in singles from the shop I stopped at that met my keeping it simple parameters.

    Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier
    Brooklyn Lager
    Columbus Brewing Pale Ale
    Founders Porter (cold)
    DFH 60 Minute
    Bells Expedition (room temperature)

    Results:
Dad (current fridge selection is Molson XXX) liked the porter, tolerated the Hefe, not a fan of the PA and IPA, hated the stout.

Mom (does not drink beer at all. Drinks wine exclusively) liked the Hefe and hated everything else lol. But she did say she could see herself drinking it on a summer day doing yard work so I'll take that as a success!

Those were my initial choices but after further thought I substituted in a couple darker choices to ease the hop onslaught lol. See above my final choices and results

I would switch one of the IPAs, and then add a decent stout and Belgian making six if you are thinking of another item.

Otherwise it's pretty fine, unless they don't care for IPAs which is a good possibility.

You're in Ohio. Replace those IPAs with Black and White Rajah.

I would go with a nice Oatmeal Stout. Still a Stout but I find them to be lighter and sweeter as opposed to the heavy hitting deep roastiness of other Stout sub-styles. As beginners, I think they will appreciate the style.

My bar had Dirtwolf on draft for a while when it first came out, and I was surprised at how many non ipa drinkers enjoyed it.
