I agree. The OP's hipster is the old curmudgeony bastard section. I know a few like that. Mix it in with the counter culture category and you have the classic "I'm better than everyone and I use zombie dust to make chili with because it sucks to actually drink" category.

I am SO a Hoarder! I think I have to have multiples of every beer I even THINK I'm going to enjoy. Has gotten far worse since I began trading. :slight_frown:.
Unpacking and organizing my beer collection was the most difficult aspect of my move south BY FAR!!!

And my beer shelves are still my biggest sense of pride in the new place! Is that bad???

I'm in my first year of drinking beer, so ticking has become part of how I learn about new styles, breweries, etc. I rarely buy the same beer over and over but I have a feeling that the ticking will slow soon. After the 1 year mark in March I will look at all that I have and start to be more selective in what goes in the fridge or cooler. I'll still tick, but not as much.

Ticker... I usually try to buy mostly new stuff, but I will pick up some trusted favorites along the way.

I voted "other" and it's "Homer." I live about 20 minutes from NJ"s best 2 breweries and as a result can hardly be bothered to commit any of the listed sins anymore. I drink almost solely growlers from Carton, if I'm looking for something new and creative, from Kane if I want a great version of what every other state has. I've never been more content.

Ticker and Hoarder. Love to try new things, but I've only been at this hobby for a year and a half, still trying alot of things. As I'm in my second year, I know more about what I like and what I don't. I'm much more apt to buy a 6'er of something I love, than try something new that just gets ok ratings. I also have too much beer sitting in my cellar that I can't bring myself to drink because it's my only one. Not whales or anything, but stuff that doesn't come out often. It's dumb.

    Ahhh...who're we kidding?

Our meetings would just end at the local tap-house tickin' more beers!
