SF Beer Week

    The Rare Barrel/Societe/Bruery event was the worst crowd I've seen yet. Left after 15 min once I realized it was hopeless to get a beer.

    As for Alpine @ City beer - crowded but not ridiculous at all. Easy to get beers and pleasantly surprised by prices, $5-6 for 12 oz of Alpine.

    Indeed. Had a good time. Big pours and one glass per person at a time, so just got back in line with a full glass. It was crowded, but not insane. Probably helped that the SF Beer Week website said it started at 6 PM, but it actually started at 5 PM. Probably also helped it conflicted with "tion" night. Glad I went.
