SF to SoCal Road Trip

We're doing a somewhat similar trip this weekend, flying into Monterey and renting a car and driving back to SD to hit Big Sur/Hearst Castle. Staying in Monterey Friday night so I was planning on hitting up Alvarado St. Was also hoping to stop at Libertine (planning on doing Morro Bay for Sat night dinner, so that location) and the Barrelworks in Buelton on the drive home.

That all said, my wife's not really a drinker and usually isn't up for spending a bunch of time so I'll be lucky to get a few tasters before hitting the road. Do Alvarado St and Libertine have cans/bottles to go? And if so, anything specifically worth getting? My wife cringes at the amount of beer in our fridge, so I only like picking up stuff if it's good enough to offset the wrath.
