I grew up going to Shackett's Supermarket in the summertime on Newfound Lake. Now, they've (or one of the family members) opened a brewery, which is, I think, in downtown Bristol. Anyone had any of the beers? I know they're relatively new. Also, I do also know that their brewer was college roommates with Dave Yarrington at Smuttynose.
Never heard of them, but I'm heading that direction this Saturday. If the hours match up, I may just stop in and report.
Please do. I have family and friends up there still and try to make it for visits in the summer. It'd be great to have a good, local brewery.
