I called a few times this week and they said that they aren't getting any. Out of all places I would have thought that they would be a lock to get a few cases. Anyone in the Lehigh Valley find it, I know that Tanczo's in Bethlehem got a couple and had a 26 people wait list as of a month ago. Tanczo's in Northampton didn't get any this year.
Yep, did that. Wouldn't give locations over the phone of places they sold to. Asked me what the big distributors in my area were and made me guess as to what stores might have gotten some. Would not confirm when I provided the names of the larger stores in the area.
That's not cool, as a store, even if I don't want to be hounded by calls for one beer, I'd love to have new people come in and see what else we have in stock.
They used to, but I don't think for the last couple of years. I was told from a reliable source that back in '09 they had cases for at least a few weeks. Those were the days... Edit: actually, I think they sold them retail in '12, but I didn't even bother last year.
They may have, but whatever they sold was spoken for long before they would have put it on the shelves. I go there occassionally and have asked about the KBS release and the possibility of getting a case. I usually get a laugh and an offer to be put on the list for NEXT year. Can't blame them. They only get so much and allocate it to their accounts accordingly.
