'Share A Beer' BIF

    What's happening Advocates? I have been doing some reflecting and looking back on how blessed I have been with being able to try and get ahold of some amazing beers. That being said, I recently had two fantastic Almanac Beers, Dark Pumpkin Sour and Cerise Sour Blonde, and I want to give one of each away to a lucky BA.

    All you have to do to enter is comment with your favorite beer somebody has ever shared with you, or even a favorite beer of yours that you shared with someone else.
    You have until Sunday August 24th at midnight PST to enter, GOOD LUCK!

    I will be using a random number generator on Monday, August 25th and the corresponding number and comment number wins!
    **If you do happen to win, I will ask that you Pay-It-Forward, or Beer-It-Forward, and give away a beer or two that you really like! Of course I cannot enforce this and will not judge you if you don't choose to run a giveaway BIF, so it's completely up to you!** :slight_smile:

    very awesome idea!!
    one of my friends was able to grab a Beyond Good and Evil from HF and shared it at a recent share. He shared it on that date specifically because he knew it was a killer want of mine.. was totally awesome on his part. thanks/!

    favorite beer of yours that you shared with someone else : Atrial Rubicite, seeing someone who has never tried this beer taste it the first time is classic.
    favorite beer somebody has ever shared with you : BVDL, blind, poured in private so we didn't know what it was. Too bad that amazing advocate is banned, RIP Brystmar.

    Favorite beer somebody has ever shared with me? BVDL at DLD 2014 as I was walking out (literally feet from the gate) a guy asked if I had tried the BVDL yet and I said no. He then handed me a cup and said enjoy!

    Since we're writing short stories, here's one on my picks:
    For the beer that I shared (Prop), I took it to Poland (along with some other great beers, but this one I didn't tell anybody about) for my recent trip...One evening we were just sitting over there at the patio drinking some euro-lagers and I brought a Pliny and a Prop :slight_smile: All of my three companions knew Pliny, but it still blew their mind...But imagine their reactions when I poured the Prop. It's nice to see someone really appreciate a great, great beer especially if they don't know how "rare" or hard to get it is.

    A friend shared a 1955 Hanssens Geueze with me. He had acquired a bunch of bottles from a friend in Belgium who found them in an old beer cellar. What an amazing treat to taste a piece of history. Cheers Avalon68!
