Taking a quick trip to Sharon Ct. on Saturday (from Albany)....Any decent bottles shops in the area?

    Thanks for any help!

Don't know specifics but thats a pretty small town. Probably have better luck in nearby, and much bigger, Danbury

I would not consider Sharon near Danbury if you are coming from Albany. Danbury is an hour south of there (without getting stuck behind a truck or something).

You should try to hit Kent Falls Brewing. Lots of people are saying good things about them. Kent abuts Sharon.

You can't visit Kent Falls yet ... no tasting room until the spring. People closer to Sharon / Kent can probably direct you to the best bottle shop to find their stuff at.

May be of some help ...

My bad. I assumed since they were on the shelves the tasting room was open. Bad assumption.

Sharon is a really small town. But it is close to Mass., where you could pick something up. Or you could drive south to New Milford, a few options are right along 7. No reason to go to Danbury, especially when coming from Sharon. Have a great trip to the NW corner ?

Not to hijack a thread, but no sense in starting a new one about Sharon.

My wife is heading to Sharon for work in a couple weeks. She has work to do and not enough energy to drive any distance. Are there any good bottle shops in town or breweries close by she should look for?

It is a really small town, if she doesn't have some range you will be out of luck. The population is around 3k if that gives you any indication.
